 FAQs

  • The best way is to book through the website, email or phone. If we’ve met at a wedding fair or at other couples’ weddings - (please do remember to mention this at the time of booking as I allocate you a 5% discount). I find word of mouth and other peoples recommendations to be one of the best forms of client bookings and I always like to reward that. Nothing makes me happier or prouder to be recommended by your friends and family.

  • By paying a £250 deposit it secures your wedding date in my diary. This means I will book you into the master diary and therefore your date is secure. Should any other couple enquire about the same date, if your deposit is paid, I’m yours! The deposit is then deducted from your final payment.

  • I endeavour to turn your wedding gallery around within one month – There is something so special about receiving your photo gallery exactly one month on from your wedding date, (It’s a great way to beat the wedding blues). However, I do stipulate up to six weeks in our contract, and I always provide a mini sneaky peak that you can add to your social media and share with your friends and family to keep you going.

  • I aim to keep things as smooth and simple as possible for you and your guest. I create a personalised online password protected gallery that you can share with your friends and family. Once a viewing gallery is prepared we can preview your images and build your album together.

  • I’m a mum of three boys so I always carry snacks! However, you’ll know yourself you need to refuel to keep your energy levels up. You don’t have to feed me your chosen wedding breakfast, but a bar meal or something similar on site would be greatly appreciated.

  • I think it’s important to meet pre-wedding for a relaxed mini shoot. It doesn’t have to be anything epic, a lovely catch up in a park or at your chosen wedding venue is perfect. It’s a great way to check in with each other, I love to hear how the wedding planning is going and its useful for you to get used to the way I work. It can be daunting having a camera in your face and will do everything I can to be as unobtrusive as possible. Its all about relaxed, natural, candid, creative, romantic shoot. – NOTHING POSED!

  • Its the one and only element of your wedding day we can't control, we do live in Scotland so rain is a given at times; however I never see it as a negative. Rain brings with it different effects, opportunities and creative ideas, you can create some awesome shots in the rain and I always pack a brolly or two just in case. Also isn't it supposed to be seen as lucky if it rains on your wedding day?
